The Universe Full of Emptiness

When the truth is re-discovered, it becomes very apparent that everything is still there yet, it is all a part of empty presence. When I refer to presence I do not point at some entity that can possibly point to itself and say, “I am this” but rather that everything is manifested for the miracle of manifestation. Those many different manifestations  outside of mind stuff are really just there because they are.

Everything is incorporated in this emptiness, sort of like the earth is incorporated inside of outer space, except even outer space is incorporated in this. When I refer to emptiness, I do not mean that all there is is emptiness in terms of a room with no furniture, because even emptiness is filled completely and utterly with space. So full of space that it is overwhelming with beauty. It represents a freedom that the mind can’t possibly comprehend, and most human mind perceive this very fearfully. For example, when a couple breaks up and then all of a sudden one or the other becomes very bored that they should be doing something more with this abundance of space and time that is now there. It is such an abundance it feels like loneliness, and the fear of not having that person there sets in. However it isn’t this fact that the person is not there that is driving the fear, its the fact that there is this abundance of aloneness or freedom that has always been present (just in the background during the relationship). Its important to understand the freedom for what it is, and to take part in it, as it is the individuals potential to have great things to be done, to manifest so many different wonderful and beautiful things.

Aside from all the gooey guru esque meandering, It has to first be seen why I say that this universe is full of emptiness. Its as easy and plain as seeing that all identity is brought about by the thought of a persona or me. Its full of all of these things including the thought of “I exist.” This thought single handedly creates a ghost of a person, and maybe this is why people are so afraid of ghost because what is being experienced is that which is very apparent. We are ghosts, there are only thoughts, concepts, and beliefs, which drive this body and says, “I am this person.” Look at the identity, your name, what is in a name? Truly look and see that the name is a thought just as much as this sense of self.

There is this experiencing without something or someone experiencing. How could it possibly be otherwise, even if you are trying to prove it wrong, which I strongly urge you to do and to see. Is there anything more to the thought of me outside of it being a thought. If it is only a thought, then what gives it any more importance than any other thought. This thought of me seems to persist as long as the body is conscious but once the body becomes unconscious the loss of identity occurs, or in another light, that life transitions into death at that very moment.

So because of this, this universe full of experience, is absolutely full of emptiness and full of potential. This place is both death and life, it is the eternal moment of existence.

I will close with this quote by Sri Ramana Maharshi:

The world appears distinctly only in wakefulness and dream with concepts filled. In concept-free, all empty sleep, one sees no world; so then conceptual is the world’s whole substance
