One Minute Wisdom: Interiority

The disciple asked for a word of wisdom.

Said the Master, “Go sit within your
cell and your cell will teach you wisdom.”

“But I have no cell. I am no monk.”

“Of course you have a cell. Look Within.”

-Anthony De Mello

How many of us have yet to see the prison in which we have put ourselves in? This comes to try and show you that by delving within yourself, you will come to know where conflict originates and that the cell are your own beliefs, standards, labels, programs, that we’ve attached to. I randomly turned to this page tonight so it might help someone as much as I enjoyed it. 🙂

And hope to not only learn deeply who I am but to learn deeply who others are by dropping my ideas from moment to moment about you.
