Distraction: Existence of God

This is a spoiler alert: This is a distraction. This is the gate to the Gateless Gate. You will not pass through the eye of a needle while contemplating silly things such as this.

However my father had brought up a story in which he asked him mother who created God and his mother replied with, “you don’t ask those kinds of questions.”

She is as right as the person who tries to answer the question, but I will humor the situation as both non-answer and answer are within the total answer.

Here it is:

Ignorance is Bliss: Is it though?

I seem to be seeing this phrase used quite often, people use it in common place usually when bad things are happening, like you see a man murder a bunch of people or molesting a child; you see this on the news and all anyone can ever say is that ignorance is bliss…. Or perhaps you don’t watch the news (which I tend to not do nor have no desire to) people could say that ignorance is bliss… but is it really bliss?

When I look into this word bliss, I immediate have this feeling that this word is utter rubbish, a sugary word that people use to create some sense of “This is how I feel, pay attention to me for I exist right now as this persona.” That is the feeling I get from the word, and I don’t see it actually being real just like I don’t see enlightenment as being a real thing, maybe a fantasy at best. I could get poetic on ya and say, sure it exists, but then a mess-load of disclaimers go down to meet some expectation of “advaita” and how non-duality is suppose to work. It’s really important to know the mechanics of duality to truly see, because duality is not actually about separation at all, the opposites are not really opposites, they are the same thing.
